The Photo Book is a iconic piece of visual and reading material that should be on every photographers book self . It homes 500 photographer for the mid 19th century to now. There is a large image for each photographer and a small piece of writing inciting the viewer of the photographer and there work. I have chosen to look at this book because i need to expand my list of photographers and for some all around inspiration. I have looked at the book from cover to cover many times since being a photography student but never really looked at names . I need to begin to learn names and also influencing photographs so that if they were to come up in conversation i don't look like a moron when i don't know who they are . I will be revisiting this book a number of times hopefully over the next few weeks of this project and keep expanding my knowledge on the subject . Being interested in portraiture naturally draws the portraits to me . Some of the photographs i will include i will have seen before but its just a matter of letting the names get well and truly stuck in my head. Other photographers will be new to me .
