Well my original intentions for this part of my short term employment and self promotion was to create a Sally Jenkins Photography website to start my work circulating . I understand Facebook is a great tool in free advertising and I know a lot of people who have successfully gained paid work from another Facebook client . With photography I think this is a hard one ! One we all know the rule that if any image is uploaded to the majority of social media sites the rights and copyrights of the images then belongs to the site but there are other reasons the more I think about it the gradually more hesitant I am to create a professional profile . I Have been looking into the pros and cons of adding images to Facebook and also face book for small businesses . I have included a selection of links below that reiterate the fact that at this moment in my career I should not be publishing my work on a social media platform .

My images are currently art and theory based because of university so its audience isn't really Facebook . Also I would like time to build a stronger page of images rather than looking to ammeter . Plus I have nothing to sell as it stands, if you look at the other photographers that have pages on Facebook they generally have a market audience in mind . for example weddings , family portraits and new borns all seem to be the most popular .This is not the style of photography I aspire to do therefore at this stage I do think it is necessary I have a Facebook page .
