Job opportunity's- Part D

I have been searching the internet every couple of days now to carry on my search for possible job opportunity . I have come across the website TotalJobs.com which has an extensive selection of  creative jobs in the north west which is perfect for me, mainly graphic design or web design job which I'm not qualified to do and neither would i want to do but there is a few gems hidden among the standardized jobs . Theses are two very different jobs that i would ever imagine getting after finishing my photography degree but i think they are both really excited for opposing reasons

I know somebody who works with social media for a living and they love it , they say the job is creative , ever developing and different everyday. Social media is a massive part of everyday life now and more and more jobs are opening up in this position. It wouldn't be a bad thing to start to know the industry early maybe start to look for apprenticeships in this field because social media feels like it develops daily and is a multi million pound  industry.

• We are looking for a passionate and creative Social Media Executive to join a top designer clothes outlet stocking some of the world`s top sports and fashion brands. With both an online and high street presence they have experienced huge growth over the past year and are now looking to grow their creative marketing department. 
  
  Responsibilities for the Social Media Executive 
  -Create engaging content - that will be used across the multi-channel retail group
  -Develop and implement various social media campaigns. 
  -Researching into the brands history and its retail partners to make informed editorial decisions in order to increase social growth targets
  -Develop and implement blogger outreach programmes, demonstrating awareness and
  knowledge of different fashion/ retail trends.
  -Supporting content and social strategy delivery of the brand - across Facebook, Twitter,
  -Google+, LinkedIn and emerging channels 
  Helping to create and expand the brands fashion awareness on social networks
  
  The successful Social Media Executive will have:
  -Previous experience in delivering marketing campaigns across social media - ideally within a retail/ fashion environment 
  -Strong analytical skills, particularly with Excel and 3rd party analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Omniture.
  Good interpersonal skills and ability to build good/ strong working relationships with outside agencies.

• I have had a part time job since i have been 14 and iv never been out of work , even whilst at university in Salford i would travel home most weekends for as many shift as i could fit it . I have experience in sales and id like to think its one of the few things i am generally good at . I feel i can work with clients ,the public and anybody you can throw at me in a professional and up beat manner . Every where i have worked i have always been put in roles that involve dealing with people whether that be managing the kitchen , dealing with costumer complains or even becoming meeter and greeter at the door of my first ever job my job role has always been catered towards people and the job description below sounds perfect for that reason .

    Our client is a leading independently owned Design and Marketing Agency based in Manchester city centre. Keen to continue grow the business, win awards and new clients, you'll be marketing the agency to potential clients, from managing and maintaining their prospect database, researching prospects and their industries, managing DM and email campaigns, developing and managing social media channels through to keeping the agency website fresh and updated with content. You'll also be working with a PR agency, developing and managing PR activity and award entries, as well as an SEO agency to plan and develop SEO activity. You'll deal with all inquiries from potential clients alongside the MD, planning responses, proposals, costings, creative briefs and presentations, often attending initial meetings with the MD. Ultimately you need to engage with potential clients through a variety of channels, and you should also be comfortable picking up the phone and developing relationships, following up previous contact and conducting research. You should have at least 1 years Marketing experience, from either an agency or clientside environment, and be looking for an opportunity to take ownership of the marketing and new business function of a highly successful agency.
